I started Buddha Belly Catering for a few reasons, I am seriously passionate about food and cooking. I honestly have been that way for as long as I can remember. I have worked in the cooking world for over 20 years when I decided to start my company. I thought it was very rare to find quality catering especially on a large scale, so many catering companies really don't care about the food they send out, we are definitely different!

My apple and brie puffs are the perfect appetizer for really any party, I have these on my catering menu, and people love them! The salty creamy brie with the sweet pear makes these craveable!

They are easy, delicious, and sure to impress! But if you do not want to make them yourself, just give me a call or email and I will gladly whip up a batch!

Ingredients

1 bartlett pear sliced very thin- I use a mandolin

1 cup of brown sugar

3 eggs

salt

Brie Cheese sliced thin

Puff pastry 4 sheets

Lay out your puff pastry and mix together eggs with a touch of water, brush the egg wash on the pastry

Lay down the pear slices in a thin layer, the brie cheese, then sprinkle on the brown sugar and a little salt

Lay the second sheet on top and lightly press down

With a pizza cutter cut 1 inch strips

On a lined baking pan take your strips very carefully twist first and roll up

Brush with the extra egg wash and sprinkle with a touch more sugar

Bake at 375 for 20 minutes or until golden brown
